so i finally got suspended from X and here is the kicker …
i googled it and they will keep charging me $3 / month premium subscription forever and there is no way to cancel it because you need to get an account back in order to cancel the subscription and as we know nobody has ever gotten an account back just by appealing the suspension …
it’s such a widespread scam that even AI knows about it and tells you point blank that they will just keep charging you …
people on REDDIT are calling this criminal and i agree but then again everything Elon Musk does is criminal so obviously i am not surprised …
i called my credit card and they said they wrote a note about it but i will need to wait until the next billing date then check my credit card statement and if i am charged then call them again and THEN they can do something about it … this is fairly typical in these situations where you think the scammers will do a fraudulent charge but it hasn’t actually happened yet …
what can i say frens … Elon is a piece of work … never EVER give him any money for any reason ! it is only a matter of time before you will regret it !

i mean i am not surprised that i was suspended - i was expecting THAT to happen.
but it’s crazy that he keeps charging people who are suspended and has coded the site in such a way that you can’t cancel the subscription once suspended.
but what you have to understand about Elon is there is no limit to how low he will go or how cheap he is. there are too many examples of this behavior from him to list.

so i had to wait for X to charge me before i could dispute the charge and they were charging me every month on the 14th so today i went to check and sure enough - they charged me !
they charged me $3 for premium WEEKS after i have been permanently suspended !

i am now officially disputing the charge with my credit card and my advice to anybody is to never, for any reason EVER do any business with Elon Musk

Elon didn’t save Twitter - he Elonified it. the effects of Elonification on X are largely the same as with Tesla. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE is a trademark of Elon for example that applies equally to Tesla and X.
Elon claims to care about efficiency … well i just had to spend hours to cancel a 3 dollar charge that should have been something done with one click - how efficient is this ? The answer is Elon is a LIAR and only cares about MONEY FOR HIMSELF.

The reason Toyota is world’s number one car brand is CUSTOMER LOYALTY. I had a friend in the gym who owned a mechanics shop and his advice for me was simple - get a Toyota. this was 20 years ago before YouTube. Today Scotty Kilmer - the most popular mechanics channel on YouTube gives you the same advice - get a Toyota.
The worst thing i have EVER heard about Toyota is that it is boring. In fact it’s the ONLY negative thing i heard about Toyota. It’s the only negative thing ANYBODY has heard about a car brand that is number one in 80% of the world’s countries including USA.
When you build a reputation like this you are thinking LONG TERM. Your brand should be your biggest asset. Ideally your brand should be so strong people do not consider ANY aspects of the product at all - they should just buy the brand and within the brand simply pick a model in their budget. This is how people buy Apple products for example.
This is NOT how people buy Tesla. In the past people bought Tesla because of perceived innovativeness. Now they buy Tesla because of perceived value. NOBODY buys Tesla because it’s a solid brand in the same way as people buy Toyota, Lexus or Porsche.
You may not think of Toyota as a premium brand but 9 times out of 10 when a choice comes down to Toyota vs Hyundai the Toyota is more expensive … and most people STILL choose the Toyota, because Toyota’s brand is strong while Hyundai’s brand is weak. Quite simply nobody who knows cars will ever get a Hyundai over a Toyota.
Tesla ? Is now below Hyundai. Aside from retarded Tesla Fanboys who yap about FSD when REAL automotive experts talk about Hyundai EVs versus Tesla EVs the consensus is that Hyundai is the better brand but Tesla is cheaper for a given level of performance.
Elon has built his empire by offering shit products - PayPal was always known to be shit. Tesla was always known to be shit. Now X is following suit.
I haven’t heard anything bad about StarLink but also it isn’t a product that is useful for 99% of people. for the 1% of people who have a use for it - it seems to be amazing. personally though i have 2 gigabit fiber.

just checked today and even after filing a dispute with my credit card, X still managed to charge me AGAIN now a second time AFTER i called the credit card to block it

it gives a link to a page you can’t find otherwise. even then when i tried to cancel it kept giving me errors like “oops something went wrong” but then somehow something got me to a page where it finally allowed me to cancel, but only after they already charged me TWICE after i was suspended and of course there are no refunds …
in retrospect it had to be illegal for them to make canceling impossible so what they did is make it EFFFECTIVELY impossible while TECHNICALLY possible.
kind of like Tesla’s AutoPilot when it drives you into a wall if you press the brake just before impact in court they say “our logs indicate AP was not engaged at the time of the crash” because pressing the brake cancels AP … so technically true … it was not engaged at the literal moment of the crash … that doesn’t mean it didn’t drive you into a wall …
and of course Tesla doesn’t share the logs with anybody …
this is why it’s called getting MUSKED. because he isn’t doing anything technically illegal but everything he does is 100% unethical.

you have to understand when you deal with somebody like Elon it’s not a matter of if but when he fucks you over.
Musk is using the philosophy of John Maynard Keynes who said “in the long run we’re all dead” meaning that it doesn’t matter if a policy is unsustainable in the long run. our entire economy is built on Keynes’ ideas.
And Elon’s businesses are also built on the same principles - namely get as much money by any means and don’t worry about consequences. Because when you have money you can deal with consequences but if you don’t have money then not having to face consequences will be little consolation.
In other words as one of his companies goes down he can pull his money out of it and put it into a new one and so on. Like opening a new credit card to pay off the old one etc. He is a master at this and it works because people are infinitely stupid.

they have full access to all the menus and still can’t cancel.
when you are suspended it is 10 times harder because you’re blocked from most of the menus.
Elon has said that “Corporate Surrealism” is his art. Indeed “surreal art” is the only way to describe the process to cancel X when you’re suspended.
it is an experience i won’t forget.
when i finally managed to cancel it - it said that it will cancel on my next billing date - i won’t be surprised if it charges me AGAIN before canceling for good but if it cancels at all at this point i will be happy.
on a related note i recently had to cancel my gym in NJ because i moved to Florida and they also tried to fuck with me. they said because i didn’t give them a 30 days notice i will be charged one more time unless i bring proof that i moved to another state.
i did bring proof and they cancelled it but this is still BS.
it saddens me that everything is a scam like this.
