Xhamster is better than PornHub and it's not even close!

i couldn’t find anything worth jerking off to on PornHub for a while now …

then i go to Xhamster and without any searching at all it simply put all the videos i couldn’t find on PornHub right at the top of the first page !

i already jerked off 4 times today …

i think what’s happening is PornHub deliberately deletes older popular videos in order to promote new videos from their partners …

also almost all videos on PornHub are less than 15 minutes long and top out at 1080p whereas most videos on Xhamster are 30 minutes or longer, with free 4K videos …

it’s one of two things - either Xhamster has vastly superior algorithms and has some kind of spyware running on PornHub to get analytics and serve people with the videos they actually want to see on PornHub but can’t find them …

or PornHub is deliberately taking down all of their best and most popular videos themselves …

literally if you think of some old school Porno you used to jerk off to and want to see again chances are you will never find it on PornHub and Xhamster will find it for you without you ever searching for it …

i never would have discovered this except one day videos wouldn’t load on PornHub so i figured i would temporarily go with Xhamster for just one day …

well it doesn’t seem like i will be coming back to PornHub anytime soon !

simply put Xhamster works the way i logically expected PornHub to work but PornHub decided to fuck everything up for reasons only they know and i don’t give a shit about - fuck them !

most videos on Xhamster front page are at least 96% rated full-length videos, whereas PornHub will sometimes push videos rated as low as maybe 50% that are maybe less than 2 minutes long to the front page and they seem to remove most full length videos …

i don’t know why PornHub is doing this and i don’t care. i also don’t know why i assumed that PornHub is the best and that i have to just tolerate its idiotic ways. turns out that i don’t. Xhamster works exactly as PornHub SHOUDL HAVE BEEN WORKIGN namely it finds the videos you will like for you and puts them at the top of the front page - high rated, full-length videos.

one video i have been trying to find on PornHub for a long time as soon as i saw the thumbnail on Xhamster and saw that it’s the full length version i got a boner before i even had the time to click on that thumbnail, whereas on Pornhub i will sometimes browse through garbage for an hour not being able to find anything worth watching …

i can’t believe the difference ! forget night and day it’s almost like heaven vs hell.

now that i think about it the entire reason i created this subforum is because of how hard it was to find anything worth watching on PornHub

but with Xhamster it sort of becomes redundant because it finds the good stuff for you

Why would Pornhub makes its site less popular?
Do the same folk own both sites, and this some attempt to differentiate them?
Or an attempt to shift the tastes of viewers?

Xhamster also occasionally deletes classics, some of this was from years ago and who knows if they’ll re-up. The only other annoying thing that I have seen is that they sometimes keep videos up but take them off search results, so make sure to keep links because result sets will change after a few months. A lot of full-length stuff also appears on Spankbang and Cliphunter but periodically the IP lolyers come along and they delete it. In this way, a lot of links I had in a folder since 2018 are dead. But still I recommend those sites over PH now. PH used to be good but it has been some time since they were the top.

Why would Pornhub makes its site less popular?

PornHub is a free site that makes money by redirecting traffic to paid sites. They do this by offering approximately 12 minute long 720p versions of 45 minute long 4K videos. These shortened videos consist of about 10 minutes of foreplay followed by a minute or two of action and then right when things start to get serious the video ends and you are told where you can go to pay to watch the full version.

Oftentimes PornHub will offer multiple edits of these 12 minute videos that use different parts of the full video in order to create the illusion of choice, like you have so many videos to choose from - but the fact is they all edit out some parts you wish were there and you will not find the full version on PornHub.

PornHub also offers “premium” videos which you can get with a paid monthly subscription, but they too are only about 25 minutes long, versus the real video which is 45 minutes long or so. Occasionally these “Premium” videos are offered for free to entice you to get the subscription, but even the subscription will not give you the real videos.

it wasn’t always like that - there used to be more real content and fewer of these 12 minute traps but it just keeps getting worse. they know nobody will watch their 12 minute videos if they have the option to watch some classic 30 minute long videos so they remove these classics to direct traffic to their money making 12 minute trap videos.

you can use:

9xbuddy : Online video download helper

to download videos both from Xhamster and PornHub, that way it doesn’t matter if they delete them

there are other sites that do the same thing in case 9xbuddy is taken down …

also don’t forget you can use regular search engine like DuckDuckGo … in fact that’s how i found Xhmaster in the first place. i couldn’t find the video on PornHub so i went to a regular internet search engine and it found the video i was looking for on Xhamster.

Xhamster is definitely cheating on ratings.

just watched a video that ends at the precise moment the guy puts it in …

and it is rated 99% …

no video that ends at this point would ever get more than maybe 80% on PornHub …

i previously suspected that ratings on Xhamster work differently than on PornHub but at this point it is safe to say they do not work at all …

also many of the 4K videos on Xhamster are just upscaled to 4K and not shot in 4K …

even so, Xhamster does have some genuinely sharp 4K videos whereas PornHub did not last time i used it …

also videos load more reliably on Xhamster as well, though i have experienced ONE video which would not load … on PornHub though videos that won’t load are fairly common …

sticking with Xhamster for now …
