i had to delete my previous article on this subject that i wrote earlier today because i came across new information about the stunt …
really this is hard for me because i just don’t care about Elon and Tesla enough to read anything about this event …
i previously posted that the stunt was faked because it was physically impossible for the car to stick to the ramp the way it did … that post was made on the assumption that thrusters were the only thing added to the car because in the original vision for the Roadster it would be a normal car with thrusters added and i never bothered to read about this new demo event …
now i am reading the car had a suction fan to create downforce to make it stick to the ramp like that …
if that is true then on one hand the good news for Tesla Fanboys is that this makes the stunt possible without hidden cables or CGI …
the bad news is that this almost certainly means a prop car was used and not a working prototype because where the fuck are you going to fit that fan in a real car ? also a real car would be too heavy to be held up by such a fan.
however i have a low degree of certainty about any of this because i honestly can’t bothered to research WTF they actually did for that demo but regardless this is definitely TESLA JUMPING THE SHARK moment
you thought Cybertruck was bad ? this is 10 times worse. this is pure desperation.
first of all i don’t believe the system can be practically implemented but secondly even if it could be - what would be the size of the market for it ?
Tesla only sells one Cybertruck for every 40 F150s that Ford sells … and the Cybertruck was designed to be practical …
this Roadster BS is a fucking joke and even if they can make a real car ( not a cardboard prop ) hover like this my guess is less than 1,000 of them will ever be sold.
the last product Tesla made that actually sells is Model Y which was announced 7 years ago … which is itself a crossover version of Model 3 that was announced 10 years ago … and those are the only two cars that Tesla sells in any significant volume …
if i was an investor i would want to see Tesla deliver a new model somebody will actually buy but instead you get this practical joke …

the objective of the stunt is clearly to make children think that Tesla is still cool. This stunt is completely irrelevant to any actual future product …

reminds me of how i was taking a ride from the airport in a Tesla uber and there were retarded high school kids in some broken down POS car next to us and they started doing dancing like movements and show signs of approval to us because we were in a Tesla … it made me want to vomit …

as for this roadster stunt i’m still not going to read about it. i do apologize to the readers for previously posting wrong information claiming the car sticking to ramp was “proof” it was faked … but i am too disgusted by Elon, Tesla and everything surrounding them to actually deliberately read about anything they do or say.
all i read about this event was stuff that just popped into my X timeline inadvertently. i block all Tesla accounts because i don’t want to hear about this garbage.

it is just a stunt just like all else and I actually applaud it. He is capitalizing on stupidity which should be taxed 
While he totally should refund and pay penalties for collecting deposits on v1 roadster from 2017, those people didnt know better and were outright scammed. People who are leaving deposits for this now and there are a lot of them are fucking braindead scum and are a fair game at this point. Also the thruster and rocket bs will not be in a production car this was just a stunt, and all this pizzazz of nonsense was just to push regular version (at best) and stroke Elon’s ego.
