i recently looked at sales figures and while models Y and 3 are doing great nobody was buying S and X and they had been cancelled in China for a while, but now they’re cancelled for good.
nobody is buying the CyberTruck either.
after selling cars for almost a decade and a half Tesla is now effectively down to two cars - 3 and Y and the Y is just a crossoverized version of the 3 so really Tesla is down to just ONE car, which admittedly is the best selling EV on earth.
that said, one EV in a market where nobody wants EVs does not make for an impressive car company.
the shorties were right about Tesla having no future but they got the timing wrong. for almost a decade the shorties thought the inevitable was going to catch up with Tesla like by afternoon same day but it took a LOOOONG time and even then it wasn’t a “bankwuptcy” but a rather soft landing.
shorties are truly the stupidest motherfuckers in investing. you don’t fucking short something just because it’s a fraud. you short it if you have concrete time frame for when it will collapse and what the trigger will be. but some people are so busy congratulating each other on how smart they are that they forget to think. most people in fact.
