True but there is a difference between being amoral like Jobs or Elon and being Evil like my father
Jobs or Elon are goal oriented and will crush any people in their way
my father is NOT goal oriented - he just likes hurting people - this is why he is poor and alone
if i never knew my father i would have a real problem with people like Jobs and Elon but i do know my father … so even though i say i hate Elon i am actually fairly neutral about him … Elon stands for absolutely nothing except personal gain and inflating his own ego … and i can’t hate somebody for that. Jobs was the same.
people around Jobs knew he was garbage human but he wasn’t an evil cockroach like my father. people around Jobs / Elon try to find a balance between benefitting from his ability to make things happen and his tendency to lie and cheat and fuck people over.
whereas with somebody like my father there are no positives. there is nothing to balance. with people like my father you have to not only distance yourself from them but also distance yourself from anybody in their circle as well. in my friend group from Brooklyn there was one guy like that as well whom i won’t name for privacy reasons but i have cut off the whole friend group simply because he is a part of it. on the plus sides only idiots are friends with such a person so i only lost one sadist and a bunch of idiots as friends.
