Kyle knows more about EVs than almost anybody, and he has a good mix of theoretical and practical knowledge. He set cannonball record in the old Taycan.
Jason has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a proper nerd in a good way.
Thomas appears to have integrity and his reviews are detail oriented rather than emotional like most garbage on YouTube
SavageGeese just makes all around good videos that keep things in perspective, which is something almost nobody is able to do.
Honorable mentions:
Alex Dykes ( Alex on Autos etc. ) // has a good understanding of hybrid systems
Throttle House ( YouTube ) // make very polished videos that seem retarded ( on purpose ) but are actually well thought out

unfortunately i can’t waste my time going through all the bad ones to explain why they are shit.
if you have a particular YouTube channel you like to watch ( or blog you like to read or whatever ) about cars, you can mention it here and i will tell you what i think about it.
i will give you one example though - Matt Farah ( Smoking Tire ) in a review of Panamera Hybrid suggested that regenerative braking happens in the 10 caliper piston brakes of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid ( as opposed to in the electric motor, where it actually happens ) … granted this was many years ago when electrification was just starting but this is somebody who makes millions doing car reviews and was flown by Porsche to their race track to test their new car and after sitting through a 2 hour lecture about the tech in it that fucking imbecile still thought that brake pads can somehow put energy into the battery.
Farah is also fat as fuck and almost certainly has diabetes and demanded that children are forcibly vaccinated against Covid so he doesn’t die because he has a precondition and putting the spoon down is too hard.
this is the kind of HUMAN GARBAGE that the average automotive reviewer is.
i put both Doug DeMuro and Chris Harris as average - they are intelligent buffoons - i guess that makes them the same as Throttle House but i feel like TH push themselves to be their best, while DeMuro and Harris are content with pumping out the same shit all the time … kind of like i am
