snow causes many problems but going forward arguably the biggest one is it blocks the sunlight from reaching solar panels
remember the problem with solar and wind is that they’re not always available
what’s great about coal or oil is that you can burn it whenever you want
but of course coal and oil are not necessarily renewable
so you have to somehow find a balance between sources that are renewable and sources that are readily available
nuclear fuel is non renewable so it’s in the same category as oil, coal and gas - with the added “benefit” of a risk of nuclear disaster
i grew up next to Chernobyl and instantly block anybody who thinks we need more nuclear power
