i have probably watched something like 20 hours or more of YouTube reviews of various Lucid cars going back to their earliest days and not one of those reviews have ever mentioned that …
they basically have no service centers. maybe if you’re in Miami or NYC there maybe something for you but for most people there is going to be nothing within 100 mile range.

but every singe review mentioned things like Range and 0-60 acceleration at least 10 times each.

ultimately people who know what’s up just buy a Lexus
no car reviewer will ever recommend a Lexus because Lexus is boring and slow and will fall on its face on the race track
well guess what ? you’re not going on the race track. you’re also not going off roading. the only place other than a regular traffic and parking lots your car will ever need to go to is the dealership / service center and Lexus has good ones, while Lucid basically has none ( same for all the other Hype cars )
honestly if you want to know what car to buy you’re better off not reading, let alone watching ANY reviews and simply ask AI questions about warranty, service, reliability etc. AI has answers to all of those things.

1st Tier premium: BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Lexus
1st Tier mainstream: Toyota
honestly you should probably not consider any other brands and if you can just stick to Lexus or Toyota
yes Lexus is just a Toyota with cheapness dialed out of it but that’s honestly what most people need because Toyota is already a good car it’s just, well, cheap
Toyota makes a great foundation because it means most parts are widely available, reliable and cheap and every mechanic knows how to replace them
then Lexus just replaces ugly lines with less ugly lines and cheap plastic surfaces with fancy leather trim and voila - you have a Lexus. but for the most parts these cosmetic enhancements do not make the car less reliable or harder to maintain, which is great because Toyota is the gold standard for those things - this is why all terrorists use it. this is why Toyotas are used everywhere from the deserts of Middle East to the Arctic expeditions to NYC taxis and ubers.
Yes there are some Lexus enhancements that go beyond cosmetics such as better shocks, or even better welding on the frame but the main parts of the car such as the engine are basically the same, maybe with a different tune. and that is good.
Lexus will simply use engines from bigger Toyotas on their smaller vehicles to get the extra performance expected from premium cars. So you will take a hit in fuel economy but not in reliability.
