the fucking retard boomer who designed this car is proud they had to design a novel manufacturing method to get the frunk into place by compressing it and allowing it to expand back into shape once it’s inside the car … too bad they never asked the question how to get it back out after you bury most of car’s components under it …
i thought Porsche putting air filter inside the bumper of the Panamera was dumb but Porsche did it on purpose to bankrupt poor people trying to service that car so that only rich and cool people would be able to drive Porsches …
Lucid just seems genuinely retarded because they never aspired to be this exotic brand that only caters to niche customers and yet they made their car less serviceable than a Porsche.

so these are all the components that you don’t have access to in the Lucid because you can’t remove the frunk trim / liner.

i am joking of course. there HAS to be a way to remove the frunk trim / liner in the Lucid but the fact that there isn’t a single picture of what’s under it online is evidence that this is very, very hard or somebody would have done it out of curiosity as they have for every other car including Porsche and Tesla.

it seriously bothers me that i was unable to find such pictures for the Lucid Air ( there is one for Lucid Gravity SUV so perhaps they learned from their mistake but i don’t want a fucking 3 row SUV )

but not of what’s under it … leading me to believe that removing it must be very difficult and indeed it seems to be wider inside than on the top so it looks like once you get it in place it isn’t coming out without some serious force required to bend it …

this isn’t the only dumb thing about lucid. my other gripe is that windshield goes halfway up the roof so that if you get a crack in the windshield you have to replace half the roof.
