flat plane sounds no different from inline 6 or flat 6. these are high revving engines whereas cross plane is a low-rev grunt and burble engine. this isn’t what anybody asked for.
but AMG customer has stockholm syndrome now and are grasping at straws.

I got rid of my model S plaid by the way went back to ICE. If you live in a condo it’s too pain in the ass. Also QC on Tesla is horrific constant issues.
good move re ditching Tesla.
and it’s not just Tesla that has poor quality either - many boutique brands are known for horrible quality for example Range Rover or anything Italian.
really among prestigious brands only Porsche is known for high quality, unless you consider Lexus prestigious.
also the article you linked is interesting. i heard about the six stroke engine but dismissed it as clickbait. but it seems it may be legit - i will definitely have to look into it now !
