we are headed into a future where old people were never less valuable
not that old people were ever valuable but at least in the past they used to pass knowledge to younger generations
but with technology like YouTube and Blogging people now document their discoveries in real time.
you no longer need to go to some old guy like Plato to learn from him - he will have already put all his lessons on YouTube or some other medium 20 years ago which means that he now has no value to society
AT ALL
he can be euthanized and nothing of value will be lost
which in practical terms means dodging euthanasia will become pretty fucking hard once society as a whole accepts that old people have no value and need to simply be put out of their misery
i would say that 55 is probably an age past which people learn very little of anything new and should have already shared everything they did learn with somebody and can now be safely euthanized
so it used to be that you were an adult at 13 and still valuable as a wise old man at 80 …
now / going forward you’re a child until your mid 20s ( still studying ) and by mid 50s you are refuse …
so the first 1/3 of your life is consumed by the public indoctrination system, the second 1/3 you work, and the third 1/3 is terminated …
you only get to live 1/3 of your life …
